About

Sandy Lane Yacht Club and Residences(SLYCR) is on Canouan, central to the Grenadines and just a few miles from the Tobago Cays, the perfect base for your Grenadines cruise, to collect your guests or enjoy a luxury break mid charter. With capacity for 120 yachts, ranging in size from 10 to 100(+) metres LOA and with available depths up to 5.5 metres, SLYCR can accommodate practically any sailing or motor yacht afloat today in its 36 superyacht berths. All berths are serviced with water and both European and US Specification power from 16 amps to 630 amps. The superyacht docks feature on-berth high speed duty free fueling and most berths have access to a waste water pumpout system. For smaller yachts we have a fuel dock selling duty free diesel and gasoline to all visitors. SLYCR is a Port of Entry for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Canouan is the unspoilt jewel of the Grenadines with a small local population living alongside luxury resorts and villas including the Pink Sands Club and its world famous Nick Fazio golf course. The island is serviced by its own jet capable airport which is directly adjacent to the Marina, a 50 metre walk or golf cart ride from the Arrivals gate to the Marina Entrance. Scheduled flights are available from Barbados, Saint Lucia, Grenada and the other Grenadine island airports.

Approach

The entrance channel is on the South Western tip of the island of Canouan in the Grenadines, a part of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The entrance is marked by a large safe water light buoy and the entrance channel is marked with IALA B channel markers. The entrance channel carries a minimum of 5.3 metres (17ft 6in) of water into the marina basin. When approaching from the north, Glossy Hill and the western end of the airport runway should be given a wide berth until the safe water mark can be seen. When approaching from the east, vessels should stay south of the barrier reef and Canouan Baleine rock before making for the safe water mark.
